Lahmeyer Misses Deadline for Response to FEC Campaign Finance Violations

U.S. Senate candidate Jackson Lahmeyer has missed a Monday deadline to respond to the Federal Election Commission’s request for additional information concerning possible campaign finance violations.

Norman Transcript’s Reese Gorman writes the FEC wanted to learn more about three possible violations in the campaign’s July report. The newspaper reports it has seen evidence one of the violations maybe an input error.

The lack of response by the deadline could bring an audit of Lahmeyer’s campaign.

Lahmeyer is running for the Republican nomination against incumbent U.S. Senator James Lankford and newly announced candidate Oklahoma Senator Nathan Dahm.
