O’Connor Joins Lawsuit Against Biden Administration for the Border Crisis

Oklahoma Attorney General John O’Connor has joined seven other states in a lawsuit against the Biden Administration for the abuse of the Central American Minors (CAM) Refugee and Parole Program. The lawsuit contends the Biden Administration has not considered the impact on states for using the program.

“The Biden Administration’s lack of leadership on illegal immigration is directly impacting our nation,” O’Connor said. “The CAM program was created without considering its impact on Oklahoma, Texas and the continuing crisis at the southern border. It’s time to fix the problem President Biden created.”

The BAM program allows for certain aliens who might have crossed the border illegally a protected status. They can petition the federal government to bring family members to the U.S. from Honduras, El Salvador, or Guatemala.

The group contends there are other issues on the border caused by the Biden Administration.

Oklahoma joins, Arkansas, Alaska, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Montana and Texas in the lawsuit.
