Even as U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe has announced his impending retirement, the race has started to fill his term with staffer Luke Hollard declaring a run.
Holland is hoping to follow in Inhofe’s footsteps.
“The people of Oklahoma owe a debt of gratitude to Senator Inhofe for his lifetime of service to Oklahoma families and protecting American freedoms,” said Holland. “As your next senator, I will continue the Inhofe legacy of defending our Christian values, fighting socialism, rebuilding our military and standing up to China.”
Inhofe has endorsed Holland, too.
“Luke is a fierce conservative and the best person to continue my work in the Senate,” Inhofe said. “He loves the Lord, is a true conservative and has the guts to stand up against the Democrats agenda, fight socialism, defend our freedoms and protect the achievements we made under President Trump. Above that, he has lived the job for several years – he knows it well.”
