Mullin to Take Shot at Inhofe Senate Seat

Congressman Markwayne Mullin announced over the weekend, he’ll be running for the open seat left by the impending retirement of U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe. Mullin currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Oklahoma’s Second Congressional District.

“We must SAVE AMERICA! So today, I announce my intention to run for the United States Senate to fight the liberal Biden agenda and the Radical Left’s attacks on our way of life.

“Because of Joe Biden, our nation has lost its place of strength in the world. We must fight the out-of-control cost of living, open-borders, and wave of violent crime. We must restore faith in our elections, defend the Second Amendment, and protect our Constitutional rights,” said Mullin in his announcement to run for Senate.

Mullin sounds as if he’s looking to bring former President Trump’s agenda to the U.S. Senate.

“No one – and I mean no one – has fought harder to advance Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda.

“I’m the conservative outsider who will stop Joe Biden’s reckless agenda and take power away from DC’s corrupt political class and their revolving door of career insiders feeding themselves at taxpayers’ expense.

“It won’t be easy, but I’ve never backed down from a fight – and that’s exactly why I’m running for the United States Senate.”

Mullin makes the second Republican to declare for the Senate seat. Inhofe staffer Luke Holland is running for the Republican nomination as well.
