It’ll be August before we know who secured the Republican nomination in a handful of statewide races.
The Republicans advancing to a runoff in the State Treasurer’s race are former Oklahoma Senator Clark Jolley and Representative Todd Russ. Russ had 48.50% of the vote, while Jolley brought in 33.87%.
Incumbent Labor Commissioner Leslie Osborn will face Representative Sean Roberts in August in her attempt to retain her seat. Osborn had 47.82% of the vote. Roberts took in 38.27%.
The Republican nomination for Corporation Commissioner will be between Oklahoma Senator Kim David and former Representative Todd Thomsen. David won 41.07% of the vote. Thomsen had 25.99%.
The runoff is scheduled for August 23rd.
