The Oklahoma Supreme Court has put on hold the challenge to place State Question 820, the adult-use marijuana program, on the November General Election ballot. Supporters are suing to get the state question on the ballot after the signature count took longer than expected due to a new process using a third-party to count signatures.
Tulsa World’s Barbara Hoberock writes the Supreme Court put the challenge on hold for the ten-day objection period. When that period begins has yet to be answered.
Supporters of State Question 820 are racing against a deadline in which ballots must be printed so they can be sent to voters serving in the military overseas.
