Jena Nelson is the only Democrat to lead in a statewide race. She is facing Republican Education Secretary Ryan Walters for the position. Nelson has 49% of the support of likely voters polled in the KOCO 5 / Amber Integrated poll with Walters taking in 44%.
Breaking down those results, 71% of Republicans are supporting Walters and 22% support Nelson. Eight percent of Democrats polled say they support Walters. Eighty-nine percent of Democrats say they are voting for Nelson. Among Independent voters Nelson wins 56% of the support while 27% are behind Walters.
The KOCO 5 / Amber Integrated poll also checked the pulse of voters in the other statewide races with the Republican candidates leading.
