A group of people trying to get abortion rights into the state constitution are awaiting the “go ahead” from the Secretary of State’s Office to begin collecting signatures.
Tulsa World’s Barbara Hoberock writes the backers of State Question 828 are from the Tulsa area and will have to collect nearly 173,000 signatures in 90 days and go through a review and challenge period before the issues lands on a ballot.
