Lankford Attempts Passage of Border Security Bills

U.S. Senator James Lankford tried to get the Senate to pass two of his bills to address issues at the Southern Border with Mexico and immigration policy. They failed to get support, but before that vote Lankford outlined his belief that the Department of Homeland Security is not ready for Title 42 restrictions to be lifted when there are currently an estimated 9,000 crossings a day.
