Stitt Creates A.I. Task Force

Governor Kevin Stitt is looking for ways to use artificial intelligence within state government. He’s issued an executive order this week creating an A.I. Task Force. It will study potential uses, benefits and security vulnerabilities of A.I. and generative artificial intelligence.

“AI has the potential to revolutionize the way our society operates. The private sector is already finding ways to use it to increase efficiency. Potential exists for the government to use AI to root out inefficiencies and duplicate regulations, and it is an essential piece of developing a workforce that can compete on a global level,” said Stitt.

The A.I. Task Force will report their findings to the Governor by the end of this year.

Stitt also called on all state agency directors to have one person on their team become an A.I. and Gen. A.I. expert.
