Turnpike Authority Clears Another Legal Hurdle for ACCESS Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Supreme Court this week rejected a request to reconsider its decision on the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s ability to sell $500 million in bonds for the ACCESS Oklahoma turnpike expansion program.

The Oklahoman’s Jack Money writes the Supreme Court’s action clears the way for the Turnpike Authority to sell the bonds and begin work on some of the projects.

Opponents say they will continue their efforts to keep the $5 billion ACCESS Oklahoma plan from moving forward.
