OK Supreme Court Rules Catholic Virtual Charter School Contract Unconstitutional

The Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday in a seven to one decision that the Statewide Virtual Charter School Board’s contract with St. Isidore of Seville Virtual Charter School is unconstitutional.

Tulsa World’s Andrea Eger says Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond calls the decision a tremendous victory for religious liberty. Supporters of the publicly funded Catholic virtual charter school says they are reviewing their legal options.
