AG’s Office Launches Online Airline Complaint Form

As part of an agreement with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office has begun taking airline complaints from Oklahomans. The online form is up and running here.

Attorney General Gentner Drummond recently signed the agreement with DOT giving him the authority to review and resolve airline consumer complaints for Oklahoma residents. The agreement allows the AG’s Office to work with DOT to identify violations of consumer protection requirements.

Drummond says he made the agreement because consumer complaints about flight disruptions, lack of refunds, and other issues are increasing nationwide.

“Airline passengers deserve to be treated fairly and to receive the services for which they pay,” he said. “Our hope is that this airline complaint form will improve ease for Oklahomans to lodge a complaint directly with the Attorney General’s office. I am committed to protecting all Oklahomans from deceptive and prohibited conduct.”

Currently, the federal government is updating DOT’s system for handling air-travel complaints.
