Oklahoma Voters Send Republican Incumbents back to U.S. House

All five members of Oklahoma’s delegation to the U.S. House of Representatives will return for another term.

Congressman Kevin Hern won the Congressional District 1 race over two challengers. He took it with 60.44% of the vote. Democrat Dennis Baker received 34.53% and Independent candidate Mark David Garcia Sanders won 5.04%.

In Congressional District 2, incumbent Congressman Josh Brecheen won handily over the Democrat and Independent challengers with 74.18%. Democrat Brandon Wade received 21.45%. Independent Ronnie Hopkins got 4.38%.

Congressional District 3 was decided by the Republican primary. Congressman Frank Lucas faced no other competition outside of the GOP.

Congressman Tom Cole will be returning to Washington, D.C., for another term. He won with 65.25% of the vote. Democrat Mary Brannon received 28.27%. Independent James Stacy got 6.48%.

In Congressional District 5, Congresswoman Stephanie Bice beat Democrat Madison Horn by a 60.69% to 39.31%.
