Split Decision on Two Legislative State Questions

Oklahoma voters split on the two state questions place on the ballot by the Oklahoma Legislature.

State Question 833 proposed the creation of special bonding districts to help with development. Voters rejected the idea by a vote of 61.61% to 38.39%.

On the other hand, Oklahoma voters overwhelmingly approved a state constitutional amendment which restricts non-citizens from voting in elections. It was already considered a felony. However, voters approved State Question 834 with 80.73% of the vote.
