During this weeks U.S. House Ways and Means, Congressman Kevin Hern defended extending the Trump tax cuts. He outlined how lower taxes on small business owners help to create jobs and reward job creators.
Hern pressed Center for American Progress Senior Director for Economic Policy Brendan Duke on his resistance to extending the cuts. Duke questioned how the tax cuts would be paid for.
