Oklahoma’s U.S. Senators James Lankford and Markwayne Mullin went on a bit of a media blitz this weekend as the U.S. Senate took up a procedural vote to move the One Big Beautiful Bill (the budget reconciliation bill) forward.
The vote to move the bill into debate passed by a margin of 51 to 49 on Saturday night.
Both Lankford and Mullin were promoting the benefits of the bill’s passage and why it should move forward.
