Oklahoma Representative Emily Gise has been appointed to serve on the Oklahoma-Israel Exchange Commission, a group that promotes economic, cultural, and educational ties between Oklahoma and Israel.
She was appointed by Speaker of the House Kyle Hilbert. Her term begins immediately.
“I’m honored to join the Oklahoma-Israel Exchange Commission and support their mission of building meaningful connections between Oklahoma and Israel,” Gise said. “This partnership has already produced powerful initiatives, and I look forward to contributing to projects that foster cultural understanding, economic growth and global innovation.”
The commission, known as OKIE, facilitates collaborative efforts in areas such as commerce, agriculture, education, and cultural exchange. It aims to promote mutual understanding and develop projects that benefit both communities.
During her first term in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, Gise has backed several pro-Israel initiatives, including legislation targeting antisemitism.
