Oklahoma Contractors Endorse T.W. Shannon For Lieutenant Governor

The Oklahoma Association of General Contractors has endorsed T.W. Shannon in the race for lieutenant governor, citing his experience overseeing major infrastructure investments and his support for pro-growth policies.

“T.W. Shannon understands what it takes to build Oklahoma,” said Bobby Stem, executive director of the Oklahoma Association of General Contractors. “As Transportation Commissioner, he managed billions in infrastructure funding with accountability and efficiency. He understands the construction industry, respects the men and women who build our state, and has consistently fought against costly mandates that hurt contractors and taxpayers. We are proud to endorse him for Lieutenant Governor.”

As Oklahoma Transportation Commissioner, Shannon helped oversee more than $15 billion in road funding. The association pointed to that record as evidence of his work on infrastructure projects and management of taxpayer dollars.

Shannon said he is honored to receive the endorsement and pledged to focus on job growth and free enterprise if elected.

“As Lieutenant Governor, I will fight to protect Oklahoma jobs, defend free enterprise, and ensure our state remains competitive,” Shannon said.
