The U.S. House Committee on Agriculture began its work to markup H.R. 7567, being referred to as the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026.
Congressman Frank Lucas is a longtime member of the Committee and provided open remarks as the markup got underway Tuesday. He says that the farm bill is vital for disaster recovery for agriculture producers adding that it also helps make “life better” back home.
