Navy Veteran Stallings Enters Race for Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District

Jackson Stallings, a Navy veteran and attorney, has announced he is running for Oklahoma’s First Congressional District, pledging support for President Donald Trump’s America First policy agenda.

Stallings said his campaign will focus on border security, lowering costs for families and challenging what he described as the political establishment in Washington.

“Service to America isn’t just a belief, it’s a family tradition,” Stallings said. “From a young age I learned that our freedoms are not guaranteed and defending them is one of life’s highest callings, which is why I’m proud to stand with President Trump and the America First movement.”

Stallings previously served as a Judge Advocate General officer in the United States Navy. He said he hopes to continue the policy direction of Congressman Kevin Hern, who currently represents the district.

Stallings has received early endorsements from former Oklahoma Congressman and Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Largent and Texas Congressman Brandon Gill.

“Jackson Stallings has the toughness and principles we need in Washington,” Largent said.

Gill called Stallings a “proven patriot, Navy veteran, strong Christian and fighter” who would support President Trump’s agenda.

Stallings played college football at Yale before earning a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. After law school, he joined the Navy and served as a JAG officer.

He currently works with small businesses helping entrepreneurs access resources to grow and create jobs. Stallings said his campaign will emphasize economic growth, secure borders and conservative policy priorities as the race for the Tulsa based congressional district begins.
