Oklahoma Representative Nick Archer has been elected chair of The Energy Council, an international, nonpartisan organization focused on energy policy.
Archer was selected during the council’s annual meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He previously served as vice chair of its Executive Committee and has been a council member since 2022.
“This organization plays an important role in bringing policymakers together to address the opportunities and challenges facing the energy industry,” Archer said.
Archer also chairs the Oklahoma House Energy Committee and serves on the House Energy and Natural Resources Oversight Committee.
