The Oklahoma independent journalism website NonDoc.com is making a return. Editor-in-Chief William Savage III made the announcement this week that his website would become active for at least the next six months so it can provide a source of Oklahoma legislative news.
Savage tells The McCarville Report that NonDoc is appreciative of everyone who has offered support for their work.
NonDoc announced it was suspending operations in December when funding its local journalism became an issue. While it is rare for most media on any level to reveal its financial situation, NonDoc chose to be transparent and began looking for funding solutions.
Having another set of eyes at the Oklahoma Capitol helps to keep voters informed of what their elected officials are doing.
