Changes Coming to OKC Talk Radio in 2022

Oklahoma City is getting a new FM talk radio station starting on January 1, 2022. Champlin Broadcasting will stop leasing its 96.9 FM signal to another station group and will begin programming it with conservative talk shows currently on its 1640 KZLS-AM signal, known as The Eagle.

Tyler Media has the only FM talk station outside of public radio with its simulcast of News Talk KOKC on 95.3 FM and 1520 AM.

iHeart Media’s News Radio KTOK 1000-AM is the heritage talk station in Oklahoma City. That station is moving with the rest of iHeart Media’s Oklahoma City radio properties to a new location after decades at 50 Penn Place in Oklahoma City.
