Rep. Tammy Townley has filed legislation to keep Home Owners Associations (HOA) from banning residential solar power systems.
OK Energy Today’s Jerry Bohnen writes Townley filed the House Bill 1023 when a constituent told her that she couldn’t get a solar power system installed because of a ban by her HOA.
Townley says the bill is based on similar legislation passed in Texas.
