Stitt Names Grayson Walker as New Chief of Staff

Governor Kevin Stitt is looking to his former deputy counsel to be his new Chief of Staff. Grayson Walker most recently served as counselor to Secretary of State Josh Cockroft.

“Grayson is an Oklahoma City native and has been a valued member of my policy and legal teams since 2020. I am excited to have him lead this office. He is committed to this state,” Stitt said. “Character and culture are essential in leadership and I can’t think of a better person to help pursue our vision of being a top ten state.”

Before joining the Stitt Administration Walker clerked for Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals Judge Thomas Prince. He’s also worked as a middle-school teacher, a campus minister, and a research assistant in the Texas House of Representatives.

“Being asked to serve as Governor Stitt’s new chief of staff is a privilege I won’t take for granted,” Walker said. “Governor Stitt is a formidable statesman, and I look forward to addressing the essential questions of politics alongside him and his team as we work together to carry out his vision of making Oklahoma a top ten state.”

Walker is succeeding Dr. Brandon Tatum as Chief of Staff.
