During his reaction to the killing of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, U.S. Senator James Lankford calls for continued pressure of Iran. Haniyeh was killed in Tehran after attending the inauguration of the new Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian.
Lankford is co-founder and co-chair of the Senate Abraham Accords Caucus.
