Federal Judges Push Bible Mandate Lawsuit Back to State Court

The attempt by Oklahoma State Department of Education attorneys to move a lawsuit filed in Mayes County against State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walter’s Bible instruction mandate to federal court was rejected by two federal judges.

The Oklahoman’s Murray Evans writes the judges say the SDE attorneys used improper procedure in their attempts to move the case.
