The Oklahoma Corporation Commission will seek out an independent investigation looking into the accusations that Commissioner Todd Hiett inappropriately groped a man during a June conference in Minneapolis.
The Oklahoman’s Nolan Clay writes Commissioner Kim David called for the independent investigation to look into the incident and what other actions need to take place.
During the same meeting, Commissioner Bob Anthony called for Hiett to step down.
As of Tuesday, Hiett said he wasn’t going to resign.
House Democrats are calling for a special session so that impeachment proceedings can begin against Hiett.
