For the eighth time since its inception late last year, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitive List has led to another arrest. This time Sau Tau “James” Liu was arrested in California on January 14th, 2025. Liu was on the list for just a week before being brought into custody.
“This arrest again demonstrates the effectiveness of our 10 Most Wanted program and the strong partnerships between state, federal, tribal and local law enforcement,” said Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond. “It is important we engage with the public to ensure these individuals are held accountable for their alleged crimes.”
The AG’s Office says it was soon after Liu’s placement on the Ten Most Wanted list that tips began pointing to his location in Sacramento, California. Efforts between the AG’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Oklahoma Metro Fugitive Task Force led to the arrest.
