Armstrong Makes Case for Permitting Reform in Senate Floor Speech

U.S. Senator Alan Armstrong used a Senate floor speech to urge Congress to overhaul the nation’s permitting process, arguing that regulatory delays have made it harder to build the energy and infrastructure projects needed to keep America economically competitive. The speech builds on permitting reform legislation Armstrong introduced in June and what has become his signature issue since joining the Senate.
