She’s only been on the job since January 2023, but Dr. Deborah Shropshire has submitted her resignation as Department of Human Services Director and Governor Kevin Stitt’s chief advisor for DHS. She’s planning to leave that post on September 13, 2024.
The Oklahoman’s M. Scott Carter and Jordan Gerard write a source tells the paper that the day before the resignation letter was submitted, Shropshire met with Stitt.
