Rose Tapped to Lead OMES

Governor Kevin Stitt is appointing Rick Rose to serve as the next director for the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES). Rose most recently served as House Speaker Charles McCall’s chief of staff and special counsel.

“Rick Rose has a deep understanding of state government and firm commitment to serving Oklahomans. To be a Top Ten state, we need a government that works for the people. I’m confident that under Rick’s leadership, OMES will continue to be a driving force in making that a reality,” said Stitt.

Rose also practiced law as a partner at Mahaffey & Gore.

“It is an honor to serve my state. I am eager to work with the Governor and the team at OMES to modernize state government and make government work for the people of Oklahoma,” said Rose.

Rose succeeds John Suter as OMES Director.

The Senate will consider confirming Rose’s appointment when they return to regular session next year. However, Rose appointment takes effect immediately.
