Three Lawmakers Seek to Stop Hiett Votes

Representatives Tom Gann, Kevin West, and Rick West have filed a request for the Oklahoma Supreme Court to ban Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Todd Hiett from voting on matters which involve entities with knowledge of his “alleged criminal conduct.”

Hiett declined comment because the case is pending. However, Hiett has admitted to being intoxicated at a function but claims he doesn’t remember an incident in which the Commissioner is alleged to have groped a man. That person is believed to represent a utility regulated by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
