Oklahoma Representative Daniel Pae is a founding member of the new American German State Legislators Caucus, which was launched this week during the National Conference of State Legislatures Legislative Summit in Chicago.
The bipartisan organization brings together state lawmakers interested in strengthening trade, investment, education, workforce development and cultural exchange between the United States and Germany.
“Oklahoma has benefited tremendously from strong international partnerships, and Germany has long been one of our most important economic partners,” Pae said. “I’m honored to be a founding member of the American German State Legislators Caucus and look forward to working with colleagues across the country to strengthen the relationships that create jobs and encourage innovation between our communities.”
Oklahoma Senator Dave Rader also attended the launch.
According to the release, Germany was Oklahoma’s fourth-largest export market in 2025, with $485 million in exports. The caucus plans to provide opportunities for state legislators to engage with German leaders and businesses while promoting policies that strengthen transatlantic cooperation.
