The Laken Riley Act, which would require the federal government to hold people who have committed a crime while in the country illegally, is making its way through Congress. On Thursday, U.S. Senator James Lankford outlined why this legislation is important during a press conference.
Lankford worked with U.S. Senator Katie Britt to reintroduce the Laken Riley Act with the entire Senate Republican Conference.
