U.S. Senator James Lankford having some success in getting through to the Trump Administration to find out more about DOGE cuts impacting Oklahoma. That includes firing federal workers and terminating leases and ownership of federal buildings.
The Oklahoman’s Jordan Gerard writes Lankford is trying to find “fact from fiction” on the federal Department of Government Efficiency’s terminated office leases in Oklahoma.
Lankford also stressed that rumored layoffs at Tinker Air Force Base, if true, would have a major impact on the Air Force’s ability to maintain aircraft.
