OK Senate Passes Bill to Establish Taiwan Trade Office

Senate Bill 209 would establish a Taiwan Regional Trade Office within the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. It won Oklahoma Senate approval on Thursday.

Senator Roland Pederson is the author.

“This measure will further strengthen our longstanding sister-state relationship with Taiwan,” Pederson said. “By establishing the Taiwan Regional Trade Office, we aim to build on this partnership and unlock new economic opportunities for Oklahoma. It will help us expand trade, foster business collaborations, and create a stronger economic link between our state and Taiwan, benefiting both Oklahoma businesses and our international partners.”
