Oklahoma Representative Emily Gise has been named a recipient of the 2026 Elected Women of Excellence Award from the National Foundation for Women Legislators.
The award recognizes state and local elected women for leadership in their communities. Gise, will be honored during the NFWL Annual Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, in November.
“Being recognized alongside some of the most accomplished women serving in elected office across our country is both humbling and deeply meaningful,” Gise said. “This award means more to me than I can fully express. It reminds me that the late nights, difficult discussions and hours of research are part of work that truly matters.”
The National Foundation for Women Legislators is a nonpartisan educational foundation made up of women elected to municipal, county and state offices across the country.
