The National Federation of Independent Business’s (NFIB) Oklahoma political action committee has endorsed Mike Mazzei for governor, citing his experience in state government and positions on small-business issues.
NFIB State Director Jerrod Shouse pointed to Mazzei’s service in the Oklahoma Legislature and as secretary of budget.
“Mike Mazzei brings valuable experience from his time serving in the Oklahoma Legislature and as Secretary of Budget, where he gained firsthand knowledge of the state’s fiscal priorities and the policies that impact small businesses,” Shouse said.
Shouse said the endorsement reflects Mazzei’s support for responsible budgeting, reduced regulations, workforce development and tax policies the organization believes would help small businesses grow.
NFIB said its political endorsements are based on candidates’ positions and records on issues affecting small businesses.
