Tribes Looking to Future of Gaming in Oklahoma

As the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association’s Conference got underway this week in Tulsa, tribal leaders were looking to the future of gaming in Oklahoma.

Tulsa World’s Michael Overall writes the legalization of sports betting in the state could be one big change. However, some caution it could be risky to renegotiate the gaming compacts.

    Casinos are wellsprings of drunkeness, gambling addiction and deterioration of personal character. They promote poverty, child neglect, spousal abuse and broken homes. The tribes that sponsor them should be ashamed of themselves. They are a blight on the landscape of Oklahoma.
