Lankford Wants Answers on Possible Biden Administration Border Security Actions

U.S. Senator James Lankford pressed U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for more information about possible actions the Biden Administration is considering to help secure the border. Mayorkas was there to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee about the budget request for the next federal fiscal year.

During his Q&A with Mayorkas, Lankford asked about the timeline and what possible actions were being considered by DHS. Mayorkas said no decision has been made about that yet.

Lankford also questioned Mayorkas about the national security risk surrounding “Special Interest Aliens.”
