GOP Women Donate $52,350 To Candidates

The Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women (OFRW) today announced its latest report on contributions to candidates for 2014. The OFRW and 8 of its 33 clubs combined their contributions to total $52,350 according to the latest ethics reports filed with the OK State Ethics Commission. An additional $1450 has been pledged for Get Out the Vote Efforts for a grand total of $53,800 in cash and support of republican candidates on the ballot Nov. 4th.

State President Pam Pollard issued the following statement, “The 1,000 plus members of the OK Federation of Republican Women have worked tirelessly to raise money to support candidates in 2014. These ladies have also volunteered thousands of hours to help republican candidates win their races in city, county, state and national elections. With cash donations of $52,350, the GOTV effort and thousands of hours volunteering for the campaigns, the OFRW is a leader in grassroots politics in Oklahoma.”

The Oklahoma Federation is part of the National Federation of Republican Women based in Washington DC. The objectives of the organization are to help elect republicans to office, educate voters and support their local communities through the Caring for America, Literacy, Americanism and Community Engagement committees.
