Congressman-elect Steve Russell has been elected to a congressional steering committee to help determine the 114th Congress committee assignments. Russell’s fellow freshman lawmakers elected him to the position.
“I am humbled to have the support of the members-elect,” said Russell. “I will fight hard to fit their conservative values and skills to our congressional committees.”
Freshman Congressmen-elect Mia Love from Utah, Lee Zeldin from New York, and Ryan Zinke from Montana were among the supporters who voted Steve Russell into a leadership position.
