The Institute for Justice has filed a federal lawsuit against the Oklahoma Ethics Commission because its gift restrictions won’t allow it to distribute a $15 book to lawmakers. The Oklahoman’s Nolan Clay writes the lawsuit was filed Monday at the federal court in Oklahoma City. Current ethics rules only allows a $10 gift of certain items.
