Instead of a crowd inside the Capitol on Wednesday, there was a line of vehicles in the south parking lot of candidates filing for office this election year. The change is the result of measures put into place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes all five Congressional Delegation members filed for re-election along with U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe. Officials estimate about 200 candidates filed in-person on Wednesday.
The filing period lasts through Friday.
