Congressman Markwayne Mullin sat down with Fox News’ Bret Baier to tell his side of Afghanistan rescue effort he was involved in.
Mullin claims that a group of special forces asked him to sponsor a flight into Kabul and thought he would be an “asset” to have on the trip. He also blames the U.S. State Department for not allowing his plane to land in Afghanistan and that one of the Americans he was trying to rescue lost contact after the terror attacks by ISIS-K.

At least he had the guts to try to save some people. I don’t see many other politicians doing that. He has my admiration and support. “Character”? Try “Man of Character.”
