The Oklahoma House Chamber was filled with members and their families as they took the oath of office to prepare for the 60th Legislature’s first session.
The House partisan makeup hasn’t changed much with 81 Republicans and 20 Democrats. However, there are 17 new faces who are taking their seats in the House.
The full House will convene for organizational day on January 7, 2025. The first regular session is set to begin on February 3, 2025.
