Drummond Meets With Vance, White House Fraud Task Force

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond met with Vice President JD Vance and the White House Fraud Task Force to discuss fraud investigations, consumer protection efforts and coordination between state and federal law enforcement agencies.

According to Drummond’s office, the meeting included state attorneys general, federal law enforcement leaders and representatives from multiple federal agencies. The discussion focused on combating fraud schemes targeting consumers, patients and taxpayers.

“Fraud is not a victimless crime,” Drummond said. “It steals from taxpayers, exploits vulnerable people and undermines public trust.”

During the meeting, Drummond highlighted Oklahoma’s efforts to investigate and prosecute fraud cases, including recent Medicaid fraud investigations and the Attorney General’s lawsuit against State Farm over alleged improper denials of hail and wind damage claims.

Drummond also pointed to partnerships with federal agencies involving cryptocurrency investigations and other financial crime enforcement efforts.

“Oklahoma is proving every day that aggressive enforcement and strong partnerships work,” Drummond said. “We are recovering taxpayer dollars, dismantling fraud schemes and holding powerful interests accountable when they exploit Oklahomans.”
