Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond received the most votes in the Republican Governor primary race, followed by former State Senator Mike Mazzei. They will face each other in the August 25th runoff.
Drummond received 26.26% of the vote in the nine-person field. Mazzei took 25.97%.
The winner of that race in August will face Democrat House Minority Leader Cyndi Munson in November. Munson overwhelmed her two opponents for the Democratic nomination with 74.93%.
There will be three independent candidates on the November ballot; Jerry Griffin, Robert Brooks, Sr., and Orlando Lynn Bush.
